Valid Named Most Promising Identity and Access Management Company in 2020 InfoSec Awards

Valid is recognized for its efforts to streamline and secure ID solutions in the public sector in the 8th annual InfoSec Awards

Lisle, IL – Mar. 16, 2020 – Valid, the leading provider of technology solutions for mobile, identity, data and payments, is proud to announce being named a winner of Cyber Defense Magazine’s (CDM) 2020 InfoSec Awards in the category of Most Promising Identity and Access Management Company. This win confirms Valid’s commitment to streamlining processes and increasing security in public sector identity solutions.

The winning Valid Identity Cloud solution hosted in AWS GovCloud regions provides agencies with secure tools to quickly implement or build identity management solutions to issue end-user credentials and provide a smoother customer experience while enhancing security for the issuing enterprise. The success of Valid’s work can be seen across the U.S., in states such as Texas, Washington, Vermont, and more.

“The identity team at Valid is thrilled to receive recognition for our efforts in the Identity and Access Management space,” said Kevin Freiburger, Director of Identity Programs at Valid. “Over the last few years, we have worked to create a platform that helps public sector agencies better secure the identities of their residents and offer ID services in a timelier manner. This award further validates that our solutions have a real impact for our clients.”

With over 3,200 cybersecurity companies worldwide looking to make an impact in the security space, only a small number – roughly 10% – were highlighted as InfoSec Awards 2020 winners, based upon independent judging and analysis.

“Valid embodies three major features the judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help stop the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.
