The course offers youths between the ages of 15 and 21, most from the public school system, training workshops on set design, wardrobe, sound, makeup, acting, and physical and vocal training.
The 18th incarnation of the project, in which 70 youth will participate, will be held at Vila Olímpica do Caju. Each workshop is 12 hours per week and lasts 5 months. At the end of the course, the students put on a show to put what they learned into practice.
The objectives of the Passageiros do Futuro project are in line with Valid’s corporate values. The multinational company wishes to promote sociocultural activities and support community organizations. Youths participating in the workshops earn fundamental technical knowledge to help them access the labor market.
To date, over 1,300 youths from different communities have participated in the Passageiros do Futuro project.
