Rafael is the executive director of technology, new businesses and corporate venture capital at Valid, a leading Brazilian IDtech in the issuance of documents in the national territory.

With more than two decades of experience in the smart card market, Salvador started his career at Valid in 2010 and has accumulated significant results as commercial director. Today, he is responsible for expanding Valid’s presence in Telecommunication markets with great business opportunities worldwide, such as eSIM, Subscription Management, integrated secure elements, and so on. Salvador graduated in Electronic Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and with an MBA from COPPEAD-UFRJ.
